Amèle Moussaoui founded misaj from a lifelong fascination with protection. Raised between the worlds of traditional healing and modern medicine, she grew up surrounded by botanical remedies, inherited rituals, and scientific rigor in equal measure.
Trained as a pharmacist in France, she spent years studying how we care for the body before asking a simple question: why does protection so often feel like a compromise? misaj is her answer: a new approach to skincare that brings together heritage, science, and everyday pleasure, creating products designed for the realities of modern life.

How long does one application last?
Plan on reapplying every few hours in high heat, and after swimming. The gesture takes twenty seconds.
Is it suitable for children and during pregnancy?
The formula is 98% natural origin and free of endocrine disruptors. As with any active cosmetic, we recommend asking your doctor or pharmacist for use on young children or during pregnancy - and our founder is a pharmacist who answers DMs personally.
What does it smell like?
Geranium rosat from Meknès, Atlas cedar, a trace of eucalyptus citriodora and clove — botanical and dry, closer to a fine fragrance than to anything clinical. It opens, then quietly recedes after a few minutes to be layered with your own perfumes.
Is it cruelty-free?
Always. No animal testing, no endocrine disruptors. A formula that respects skin as much as it respects nature.
Is it suitable for all skin types?
Yes. Each formula undergoes dermatological testing across skin types as part of its EU regulatory file. It performs and feels right whatever your skin.
